live waters
Unpotes shaped in moving water. Each vessel carries the specific choreography of the water that made it.
High tide no.1
Wave-deformity held in glaze. Stoneware, white and wood ash glaze, slip-trailed porcelain slip. Littlehampton West Beach, 2025.
low tide no.1
Rolled in the break at low tide. Repeated immersions pressed the base into the sea floor; wave light patterned the surface. The making recalls early lessons in diving the break — taught by my father, where timing and trust were everything.
Stoneware, porcelain slip, wood ash glaze. Brighton Beach, 2025.
Creek Flow No.1
Shaped in creekwater — dropped upstream, carried downstream.
Each form shaped by the subtle choreography of falling water and seasonal drift.
This vessel holds the memory of flow.
